Green Marketing: It includes product modification, changes to the production process, packaging changes and modifying advertising. It is also known as environment marketing or ecological marketing. It aims at protecting the interest of the organization and all its customers.

Many organizations deal in providing services and many organizations offer services along with the products they sell. There are five categories of offering. They are:
Pure tangible good only: Tangible goods like bread and butter etc. but no services are provided with them.
Tangible goods with accompanying services: It includes tangible goods with which services are offered. For example, reverse osmosis system selling companies offer services along with the product. Products which are technically complex require services to be offered with them such as computers, televisions, washing machines etc.
Hybrid: It is a category where goods and services are equally offered. For example, food and services are offered at a restaurant.
Major Service accompanying minor goods and services: In this, offerings are mainly in the form of services. Customers pays for the services but gives importance to minor goods and services offered along with it.
Pure services: In this, offerings consist of pure services and no or insignificant minor goods or services are provided along with it. For example, getting hair cut from a salon.
What is the difference between marketing and relationship marketing?
Marketing aims at maximizing sales and earning more profit by identifying the needs of the customers and satisfying them. Relationship marketing aims at establishing strong and long-term relationship with its stakeholders. Marketing is a wider term whereas relationship marketing is a term in marketing.
What do you mean by relationship marketing?
Marketing managers aim to create long-term relationship with their customers. By understanding their needs and providing them goods and services appropriately, they create a personal connection with them. Marketers provide high quality products at fair prices to the customer over time. Relationship marketing refers to building a strong and long term relationship amongst the stakeholders. Relationship is developed on social, economical and technical aspects. A unique company asset known as marketing network is developed through relationship marketing. A marketing network includes the organization and its stakeholders i.e. customers, suppliers, employees, retailers and distributors etc.
An organization tries to build mutually profitable business relationships. This helps the company to earn loyal customers. It is beneficial for the customers to maintain long term relationship with its customers. It is simple and an inexpensive job to make an additional sale to an existing customer rather than making a sale to a new customer. Benefits of relationship marketing are loyal customers, repeat purchases, goodwill, low promotional cost for the organization etc.
