Confetti is the name given to the chocolate that was distributed among the guests of an Italian wedding. The word was adopted by the English language, but however in the English language the word stood for bits of paper. These bits of paper were used by the guests of wedding to bless the couple.
They come in various shapes and sizes. There are standard shapes and sizes as well as customized shapes and sizes. However making them in customized shapes and sizes would take longer time than making them in standard shapes and sizes. The different materials used to make them are PVC and tissue. The types of PVC used to make them are Metallic, Technoflek, Day Glo, and Non-Metallic. Around 90% of the tissues used to make them are from recycled materials. Most of the materials used to make them are made fire
resistant.
Depending on what kind effect one wants one use a cannon. The types of cannons one can use are continuous flow cannon and the single shot cannon. Using one own hands or a snow bag to get the desired effect is always an option.
If one wishes they can have confetti made in different shapes including flower petals and hearts. They can also have material printed on them and use them as an invitation or a thank you note. Since they can be made in different colors one can use them as decorations.
Since the people are now very concerned about nature, real flower petals are used as confetti. These are biodegradable and thus eco-friendly. But they can’t hold their color and fragrance for long period of time.
Methods have been developed to preserve these petals. The first method is to freeze them and the second method is to air dry them. The second method is more economical and thus preferred by most people.
