The latest addition to the scion family by Toyota Motor Corporation is the 2011 edition of Scion tC and it is safe to say it is different other members.

The first change made to the Black Scion tC is the engine. This car has a 2.5 liter capacity engine that produces a torque 173 at 4100 revolutions per minute and has 180 horsepower at 6000 revolutions per minute. The measurements of the bore and stroke are 90.0 mm and 98.0 mm respectively. It is a four cylinder, 16 valve engine with a dual VVT-i. The compression ratio is 10.4:1 and it has Toyota direct ignition.

The car comes with either a six gear manual transmission or a six gear automatic transmission.

Black Scion tC has double wishbone for its rear suspension and MacPherson strut for the front suspension.
It has ABS along with brake assist and EBD. The turning circle of car from curb to curb is 37.4 feet and it has an electric power steering.

The car uses P225/45R18 tires and the curb weight in pounds for manual transmission and automatic transmission is 3060 and 3102. The fuel tank can hold upto 14.5 gallons of fuel.

Black Scion tC is 174 inches long. Its height is 55.7 inches and width is 70.7inches. The ground clearance of this car is 6.3 and it can carry five people at a time. The MFR for cargo volume and passenger volume in cubic feet is 14.7 and 88.4. Leg room in this car is 41.8 inches and 34.6 inches in the front and rear respectively and the shoulder room is 55.4 inches and 52.1 inches for the front and rear respectively. Head room in this car is 37.7 inches and 36.4 inches respectively.

The car provides a mileage of 23 mpg in an EPA city and 31 mpg in an EPA highway. It provides 26 mpg in an EPA combined.
